A listening ear…sometimes this is what is needed for someone to figure out all options. Or for a child to truly believe that it’s not his or her fault. Our counselors are trained professionals who care about the well being of our clients.
Healing takes time! We invest the time to comfort, encourage, counsel, and support our clients. When you give, you help to empower, support, and provide medical attention to those who have suffered deep wounds in life. You provide options for those who felt they had no options at all.

$3500 - Covers 100% of the cost for specialized treatment for babies, children, and their caregivers.

Many of our clients have been battered and abused…and they are in need of attention. Often they don’t have medical coverage yet their lives depend on getting proper treatment. Our staff provides a healing environment— we understand their pains, the embarrassment, and the shame they face... and we say "we don’t judge. We just want to help!" Your gift will make a difference to those in need of comfort and treatment. Please give them your best gift.
$50 - Will pay for healthy meals and snacks for 15 children.
$800 - Covers 100% of the cost of a medical exam for a child victim of abuse.

Domestic violence and abuse has a long term impact on its victims—some are able to cope with the realities of life faster than others. Our Partners in Healing treatment programsare designed to help clients heal no matter how long it takes! These programs are for infants, toddlers, teens, and their care-givers who have been traumatized by interpersonal violence (treatment takes place at the Counseling Center). Your gift will ensure that they have the time they need to heal...
$3500 - Covers 100% of the cost of treatment to help a client overcome trauma.

Although Safe Horizon is now celebrating 35 years of exemplary service, we are still not listed on their site.
